The LeTort Website has Moved!
Senior Walk
On June 3rd, we welcomed back our senior Letort alumni. It was heartwarming for teachers and staff to see and celebrate our former elementary students as they end this chapter of their lives. Good luck in all your future endeavors and congratulations to the class of 2025!
Books and Breakfast at Letort
We had an amazing turn out this year for the Books and Breakfast event at Letort. We had over 100 attendees gathered for a picnic breakfast and a little reading time. Even Larry the Lion made his appearance!. Thank you to all the families that participated in this annual event and a shout out to our amazing staff who volunteered their time to make this event a success!
The Power of Voting!
The students of LeTort have SPOKEN through the power of voting! The LeTort lion’s new first name is Larry and his middle name is Louis. The students had a fun time rocking the vote!
Laps for LeTort!
Our annual Laps for LeTort was held on Thursday, October 10th. All of our LeTort students got to run or walk for an hour during the morning. The weather was beautiful for our fall event. We want to thank all of those who sat in the spectator section and cheered on the kids. Also, a huge thank you to LeTort P.T.O. for running such a well-organized event. We are grateful for all that you do!
On a more playful note, one of the big fundraising goals was met a few days BEFORE Laps for LeTort and that was for Mr. Malek to get duct taped to the wall! Mrs. Wenger's 2nd grade class decided to pay Mr. Malek a visit while he was "hanging out."
Local farmer, Mr. Steve Harnish recently visited our 6th grade students to give them training on how to correctly raise and lower the flag, as well as understanding how to appropriately fold the flag. We have several 6th graders who have taken on this privilege each AM and PM. Mr. Harnish is also a LeTort alumnus! We appreciate his support of our school!
